    About our Program

Our five-year, fully-funded doctoral program prepares students to engage in high-quality research and pursue careers as faculty members at top academic research institutions. It offers a balance of core courses and doctoral seminar electives, which allows students to tailor their program to their specific interests. It also emphasizes close faculty-student engagement on research projects. Our students regularly present their research at prestigious conferences and publish in top academic journals. Our students also have strong job placements at universities worldwide. Students in our program receive tuition remission, a generous stipend for five years, health insurance, and access to research funds. We foster a cohesive environment through the Doctoral Student Association, which is dedicated to providing a sense of community and a support network for doctoral students (http://business.gwu.edu/programs/doctoral-programs/doctoral-student-association).

Acceptance to our PhD program is highly competitive. We look for strong academic backgrounds as well as the initiative and intellectual curiosity to break new ground. For more information on our program, please see here
