    ONE Planet 2020-2030: Coupling Management Research with Grand Challenges and the UN SDGs

    We are thrilled to announce our first ONE Virtual Plenary to be streamed at the 2020 Academy of Management Virtual meetings.

    The objective of the Plenary is to discuss the main grand challenges faced in different parts of the world and propose a research agenda for the next 10 years.

    We as Organizations & Natural Environment researchers have an opportunity to advance research on the 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and contribute with actionable ideas.

    Our global panelists are:

    • South America: Maria Alejandra Gonzalez-Perez, EAFIT, Colombia
    • Africa: Fayth Ruffin, The University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa
    • Central America & Caribbean: Andrea Prado, INCAE, Costa Rica
    • North America: Olga Hawn, University of North Carolina, USA
    • Europe: Raquel Antolin-Lopez, University of Almeria, Spain
    • Australia and Asia: Sukhbir Sandhu, University of South Australia, Australia
    • Global: Caroline Flammer, Boston University, USA

    8:00-8:07am: Welcome & Introduction: Ivan Montiel, Program Chair, Panel Moderator
    8:10-8:45am: Breakout rooms by region, including a GLOBAL room 
    8:45-8:55am: Main room debriefing
    8:55-9.08am: Q&A
    9:09-9:15am: Final remarks and ONE leadership hand over: Judith Walls & Jeff York, Division Chairs.

    Plenary Questions

    1. What are the most urgent grand challenges and the action plans that have been developed to progress on the SDGs in the region?
    2. Any interesting research topics for ONE scholars to help advance the 2030 SDG Agenda?
    3. How have recent crises, such as COVID-19, affected research on SDGs and what research avenues evolve?
