    THE UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT, Grossman School of Business (www.uvm.edu/business), an AACSB-accredited school, invites applications from outstanding scholars for the Steven Grossman Endowed Chair of Sustainable Business. The successful candidate will have a strong record of academic publications in the area of sustainable business with a focus on topics such as sustainable strategy, sustainable innovation, sustainable supply chain, and environmental management, and be committed to this domain through innovative course and program development, and outreach to the academic and business communities. Sustainable business is a major theme in the School's MBA and undergraduate curriculums, and as such the faculty chair will be a leader for the sustainable business area, which is core to the mission and strategic plan of the School. The position offers a reduced teaching load, discretionary research funds, and AACSB competitive salary and benefits. The candidates should be able to teach sustainable business courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The chair is open to candidates who are mid-career Associates or Full Professors.

    About the School
    The Grossman School of Business cultivates and supports over 30 tenured or tenure-track faculty dedicated to education, research and management practice and is home to over 1,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Multiple faculty members produce high quality research on sustainable business topics including Dean Sanjay Sharma who is a pioneer in sustainable strategy scholarship. The School also has established relationships with several globally competitive sustainable businesses in Vermont and elsewhere that provide faculty an opportunity to conduct research and create engaging experiences in the classroom. The new chair will foster existing relationships and expand our outreach to other sustainable businesses. The chair will also work with faculty from the Gund Institute for Environment which is UVM's highly regarded environmental research accelerator that brings together scholars and leaders to uncover solutions and tackle the world's most pressing environmental issues.
