WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO: is an informal bunch of professors, students, administrators, alumni, and others working to transform business education on their own and other campuses. We work to move business education away from the business-as-usual paradigm, core and upper-level courses, and research content that dominate so much of current business education worldwide. Our website is

We are joining many others in working to create fundamental change-transformation-of business education and research. We place particular emphasis on changing all core, required first courses in every business "discipline." In doing so we work to shift the grounding of business education from the neoliberal shareholder primacy framing that currently dominates business education – a business and economics paradigm that guides and supports the business practices that have been destroying the planet's capacity to support our own and other species for six decades. We seek to shift business education, teaching and research toward discovering and creating new paradigms that will create a sustainable/flourishing/regenerating world.

We believe business education and research can become one of the greatest vehicles for creating such a world and are working to make that contribution happen.

OPEN HOUSES: Our monthly open houses are informal events where visitors can learn about what colleagues are doing to bring about these business education and societal transformations and where they can share their own experiences, questions, and actions. And, where they can learn how to join

Please join our next monthly Open House on November 16 from noon to 1:00 PM EST

In the November Open House we will have our usual one-hour conversation about the work folks are doing -- concrete steps in curriculum transformation, innovative research projects, ways we can help our own and other business schools and universities transform their teaching and research to create a sustainable world…. And how you can join if you have not already joined is.

In addition to our informal conversations, this month Frank Werner of Fordham University will give a five-minute talk on the work he and his colleagues are doing to transform Fordham's UG and Grad core finance courses and upper level finance teaching and research at Fordham and on a number of other campuses. Linda Irwin of Regis University will give a five-minute talk about transforming the core and advanced marketing courses and research at Regis and beyond.

Should you be unable to attend in November, please note that we will also be holding an open house every month. The December open house will be on Tuesday, December 14th at 12:00 ET. Here's the link for that one:
