    --- Apologies for cross-posting ---

    Dear Colleagues,

Do you know any courses on personal development taught in the MBA program or any other management degree program?

I am looking for courses in the broad area of "personal development","managing yourself", "happiness", "how to live". In a nutshell, an academic alternative to the life coaching industry.

I am particularly interested in courses that:

    1. Target current or future managers.
    2. Use management and strategy concepts applied to your life.

I would like to collect the name of the course and, ideally, the syllabus.

I list some of the courses I know below:

    1. Designing your life – Stanford by Bill Burnett & Dave Evans (based on the homonymous book - http://lifedesignlab.stanford.edu/)
    2. Strategize Your Life with Simple Rules – IESEG by me J Marco Clemente (https://www.linkedin.com/in/drmarcoclemente )
    3. Designer in Society – Stanford by Bernie Roth (base of the book "The Achievement Habit" http://achievementhabit.com/ )
    4. The Art of Self-Coaching – Stanford by Ed Batista https://www.edbatista.com/the-art-of-self-coaching-public-course.html
    5. Interpersonal Dynamics (aka Touchy Feely) – Stanford by Ed Batista https://www.edbatista.com/interpersonal-dynamics.html
    6. How to measure your life – Harvard by Clayton Christensen (not a full course, but he integrated it in the last session of his strategy course)
    7. The Science of Well-Being Yale/Coursera by Laurie Santos (https://www.coursera.org/learn/the-science-of-well-being )
    8. Creativity and Personal Mastery – previously given at Columbia University by Srikumar S. Rao (https://theraoinstitute.com/)

Please write to me (m.clemente@ieseg.fr) if you know any!

    Thank you!

Marco, This is not a course, but I also have a similar focus in the last session of my graduate sustainability classes and show this video: More Than Money - What is "The Good Life" Parable (3:05 mins).  I have never used the accompanying book, More Than Money: Questions Every MBA Needs to Answer: Redefining Risk and Reward for a Life of Purpose.  Mark Albion (founder of Net Impact) has several other books, including Making a Life, Making a Living: Reclaiming Your Purpose and Passion in Business and in Life and Passion at Work: How to Find Work You Love and Live the Time of Your Life.
