Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a great summer. I wanted to invite everyone from the ONE division to an awesome virtual event that we are hosting with our local chamber of commerce. It is called 1 Million Cups, where we invite local entrepreneurs to discuss their business and any problems they are encountering. This month, we are hosting an ecopreneur, Sunshine Petrus, who builds tiny homes in Texas with a focus on sustainability. The entrepreneur normally presents for 15 minutes, followed by around 45 minutes for discussion. It is fun, interactive, and a great opportunity to meet new people. Feel free to invite anyone you wish to the event. You may even invite your students.
The event will be on August 25th, at 9 am Abilene, TX time. Sunshine provided the following description of her business:
