    Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce the next Impact Scholar Community event on
October 14, 2020 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm EDT.

The theme for this event is "Getting the word out: Approaches for translating research to a wider audience".  The keynote includes Magali Delmas (UCLA), Stephanie Bertels (Simon Fraser University), Brian Koegh (The Conversation, to be confirmed), and a manager who will share their research translation experience. We will also conduct an experiential learning exercise using a template for research translation. Maya Fischhoff from the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS) will facilitate the exercise.

Registration for the event will open mid-September. Sign up here to receive updates: Home | Impact Scholar Community

Please fill out this survey on your research translation experience by September 10.  The survey is a joint effort between the Impact Scholar Community and NBS. Responses will be shared in the October event and in NBS's newsletter.

For further insights on research translation, read Garima and Maya's latest NBS article "How to Translate Research without Dumbing It Down".

We are looking very much forward to our next event!
